How CreatorAPI handles copyright complaints under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
CreatorAPI respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. CreatorAPI is a programming interface that gives a user authorized access to accounts they control on third party platforms. We do not host a public library of creator content. If you believe material accessed through the Service infringes your copyright, you may send us a notice and we will act on valid notices, including by disabling access and terminating repeat infringers.
Send a written notice to our copyright agent at [email protected] with the subject DMCA Notice. To be valid under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following.
When we receive a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the material through the Service where we are able to, and we may notify the user who accessed it. Because most content lives on the underlying platform and not on our servers, we may also direct you to that platform, which controls whether the content stays online.
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter notice to [email protected]. It must include your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed by mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district or, if you are outside the United States, for any district in which we may be found.
We will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Sending a notice that misrepresents that material is infringing can expose you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. 512(f). Please make sure your claim is accurate before you send it.
Copyright notices are handled by the operator of the Service.
