How CreatorAPI uses cookies and local browser storage.

01Summary

We keep browser storage to the minimum needed to run the product. We use it to keep you signed in, to run the customer dashboard, to route support messages, and to credit the partner who referred you. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.

02Strictly necessary

These are required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off from inside the product.

• Session and sign in. When you sign in to the dashboard we store your API key or session token in your browser (local storage such as creatorsapi_key and session tokens prefixed ca_sess) so you stay signed in. These stay on your device until you sign out or clear them.
• Security. Our network provider Cloudflare sets short lived cookies (for example cf_clearance and __cf_bm) to tell humans from bots and to protect the site. These expire on their own.

03Functional

• Partner attribution. If you arrive through a partner link we set a cookie named ca_ref on the creator-api.com domain for up to 90 days, so the partner who referred you is credited if you subscribe. It holds a referral code only, not your identity.
• Partner portal. If you join the partner program we store a partner token (ca_aff_token) in your browser so the portal can show your stats.
• Support widget. The in page support widget keeps a small amount of state so a message you start is not lost.

04Analytics

We measure aggregate traffic to improve the site. Where analytics run they are configured to respect your privacy and do not build an advertising profile of you. If we later add measurement from an advertising platform, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

05Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. If you block the strictly necessary items, sign in and the dashboard may stop working. You can also sign out to remove your stored session, and you can revoke API keys from the dashboard.
