Partner Program Terms

The rules of the CreatorAPI partner program. Read them before you share your link, they are what we pay against.

01Summary

You promote CreatorAPI. When an agency signs up through your link and pays for a subscription, you earn 30 percent of what they pay for their first year, then 10 percent of every payment after that, for as long as they stay a paying customer. Commission clears after 30 days and pays out once your balance reaches 50 USD. This page is the contract.

02Who can join

Anyone over 18 who can lawfully receive payment from a United States company. You join as an independent contractor. This agreement does not create an employment relationship, a partnership, a joint venture or an agency relationship, and it does not give you authority to make any statement or promise on our behalf.

03Your link and how referrals are attributed

You get a referral code and a link of the form creator-api.com/r/yourcode. When somebody opens it we store a cookie in their browser for 90 days.

• If they create a CreatorAPI account within those 90 days, that account is attributed to you.
• Attribution is last click: if the visitor later clicks a different partner link before signing up, the newer link wins.
• Once an account is attributed it is locked to you permanently. A later click on somebody else's link cannot take it away.
• Cookies can be blocked, cleared or lost across devices. We can only pay on referrals we actually recorded, and our records are the sole source of truth.

04What earns commission

Commission accrues on paid subscription invoices of the accounts attributed to you. It does not accrue on anything else.

• Included: the first subscription payment and every renewal, for as long as the customer keeps paying.
• Not included: one time credit packs, taxes, and any amount the customer does not actually pay.
• The commission base is the net amount received, excluding tax and after any discount. Amounts are calculated in the currency the customer was billed in, and balances in different currencies are always kept separate.

05Commission rate

The standard rate is 30 percent for the first 365 days after the referred customer pays their first invoice, and 10 percent for the entire remaining lifetime of that customer. The 365 days are counted per referred customer, starting on the day that customer first pays, not on the day they clicked your link and not on the day you joined. There is no cap on total earnings. We may agree a different rate with you in writing, in which case that single rate replaces both of these, applies from the date we set it, and is not applied retroactively.

06Holding period, refunds and chargebacks

A commission is booked the moment the invoice is paid, then held for 30 days before it becomes payable. During and after that period:

• If the customer is refunded, we reverse the commission in proportion to the amount refunded.
• If the customer disputes the charge, we reverse the commission in full.
• If a reversal lands after we already paid you, the amount is deducted from your next payout. If no further commission accrues, the amount remains owed to us and we may recover it.

07Payouts

• The minimum payout is 50 USD or the equivalent in the currency the balance was earned in. Below that, the balance simply carries forward.
• Balances in different currencies are paid separately and are never converted or combined without your agreement.
• You choose the rail: PayPal, Wise, bank transfer or USDT. You are responsible for giving us correct payout details and for any fee your provider charges on the receiving side.
• We pay approved balances on request and, at the latest, within 30 days of the end of the month in which they became payable.
• Commission that stays unclaimed for 12 months because we cannot reach you or your payout details do not work may be forfeited.

08Taxes

You are responsible for your own taxes. Before your first payout we may ask you for a Form W-9 (if you are a United States person) or a Form W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E (if you are not). If you do not provide the applicable form we may be required to withhold United States tax at the statutory rate, or to hold the payout until we receive it. Commission is a marketing fee, not wages.

09What is not allowed

The following void the commission on the affected referrals and may end your participation:

• Self referral. You may not earn on your own account, on an account of a business you control, or on accounts of your family or household.
• Bidding on our brand terms, or variations of them, in paid search, or running ads that appear to originate from CreatorAPI.
• Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, browser extensions, or any method that sets the referral cookie without a deliberate click.
• Unsolicited bulk email, unsolicited direct messages, or any promotion that breaks the rules of the platform you promote on.
• Listing CreatorAPI on coupon, voucher or cashback sites without our written approval.
• Misrepresenting the product, inventing features, quoting prices we do not offer, or claiming to speak for us.
• Promoting CreatorAPI alongside content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, or in a way that suggests we endorse content that does.
• Creating multiple partner accounts, or registering accounts on behalf of a customer in order to attribute them to yourself.

10Suspension, termination and forfeiture

Either side may end this agreement at any time, for any reason, with written notice. We may suspend your account immediately if we suspect fraud or a breach of section 09, and we may withhold any balance while we investigate. If we confirm a breach, unpaid commission on the affected referrals is forfeited and we may reclaim commission already paid on them. If you close your account or we close it without cause, we pay out any balance that has cleared its holding period and is above the minimum. Commission stops accruing on the day the agreement ends.

11Our records, and no guarantee

Our tracking and our billing records determine what you have earned. We do not guarantee any level of earnings, that our tracking will capture every referral, that the Service will remain available, or that the pricing you promote will stay the same. Nothing here is an offer of exclusivity for any territory, channel or audience.

12Changes to the program

We may change these terms, including the commission rate, the holding period and the minimum payout. We will give you at least 30 days notice by email before a change that reduces the rate on referrals you have already made. Any other change takes effect when we post it. If you keep promoting CreatorAPI after a change takes effect, you accept it.

13Liability and governing law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the commission actually payable to you in the 6 months before the claim arose, and neither side is liable to the other for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction.
